Drug traffickers—what will they think of next?! The AP reports that Mexican police in Mexicali have recently "recovered a powerful improvised cannon used to hurl packets of marijuana across a border fence into California." Quick question: Can that cannon reach Coachella?
Apparently, the cannon is "made up of a plastic pipe and a crude metal tank that used compressed air from the engine of an old car" and has been "packed with drugs that weighed as much as 30 pounds." U.S. authorities have been seeing these kinds of air deliveries—in December, numerous pot-packages were found in Yuma, Arizona. Like this:
